Valentine’s Day is around the corner! Just 11 more days until this day of love is celebrated all around the world. But… as far as your concerned, not only is 14 February one of the most depressing days of the year, you also feel like the weeks leading up to this love fest should be forgotten ASAP. Valentine’s Day promotions are all around you, and you’re only reminded of the fact that you’re alone.

Well-intentioned advice and comforting words

Fortunately, the pressure is getting less and less, but we still live in a society where it’s almost a crime to be single. The ultimate goal in life is to have a career and find a great lover to spend the rest of your life with. As a single person, you’re quick to be pitied by others who are in a relationship, and even during family visits, you might often be asked: “And? Are you in love yet?”
