The 5 best date ideas for warm weather!

dating-in-summer

Woohoo, summer’s here! It took a while for the weather to warm up, but it’s finally nice out. Grab those Bermuda shorts and swimsuits and get ready to have fun! Need some inspiration? Here’s a list of 5 fun date ideas for warm weather.

#1 Balloon fight

Do you have a nice garden that you can use? Then this is a great date idea for you. Invite your date to your home and don’t tell them yet what you’re going to do. For this date, good preparation is important; prepare some water balloons in advance and start battling your date with the water balloons as soon as they enter the garden. You’re sure to have a great time and seeing your date running around soaked is also very sexy.

#2 BBQ in the park

Buy a disposable BBQ, charcoal, suitable (vegetarian) meat and/or fish and some bread, and instead of a picnic go for a barbeque in the park. Make sure your date brings a nice blanket and some bubbles and then relax and enjoy the weather, good food and each other. Check beforehand to make sure a barbeque is allowed in the park that you’d like to go to.

#3 Touring the surroundings

Does one of you have a convertible at your disposal? Lucky you! Of course, you can also rent a convertible, which doesn’t have to be expensive at all. Prepare a basket full of delicious food and drinks and go out together. Get to know each other during conversations on the road, or go for car karaoke and vibe along with the music! Put together a nice playlist beforehand or listen to our Vibes playlist on Spotify.

#4 Walk around the city

Going for a walk might sound a bit boring, but with all the measures around COVID-19, we know better by now. Walking with your date is the perfect way to get to know each other; no awkward sitting across from each other, and conversations automatically become easier. Don’t forget to make a stop at the local ice cream shop!

#5 Go for a boat ride

This date will give you some major The Notebook vibes! Hire an electric boat (preferably not a rowing boat, as you’ll be exhausted after half an hour) and enjoy the sun, the freedom and good conversations. Lovely on a warm day and also super romantic.
