These are the 5 types of vaginas, and they’re all normal ❤

Drawn penises in toilet cubicles, penises in graffiti on walls, penises on TV, unsolicited dick pics… Penises are everywhere. Vaginas, on the other hand, are not! Yes, you’ll see them in porn, but those usually look like typical ‘porno pussies’. This is why few girls, women, and men know that vaginas come in many different forms. Vaginas are incredibly unique, and there’s never anything to be ashamed of. They come in countless shapes and sizes, but broadly speaking, there are 5 ‘types’. We’ll discuss them in this article.

Vaginas, vulvas, bikini lines, groins, and pubic mounds. Love yours! The vagina is an area that most people don’t show to just anyone. That’s why there’s some sort of taboo around the fact that your vagina is a secret area of your body. And, the vaginas we do see often look a bit the same. They look like the classic porno pussy. As many women don’t have a lot of reference material (if any), the vagina is an area that we can be quite insecure about. Is my vagina normal? The answer is: YES! Yes, your vagina is completely normal!

What’s normal?

As some things are not very visible, you may think that they’re not normal. However, it’s quite normal to have stretchmarks or striae on your stomach, hips, buttocks, and thighs. It’s also normal for the inner labia to be darker than the rest of your skin. Scars from surgery or razor bumps are also normal! And that stubble that happily reappears only after a few hours? Also normal!

1. The Barbie Vagina

The Barbie Vagina or the porno pussy is the vagina looking like what people expect of it. Many people think that most vaginas look like this, but they don’t! With this type of vagina, the inner and outer labia are small and tight. You can’t see the inner labia from the front, and the outer labia are close to the body. There’s nothing else to see but a thin line. This is the most “invisible” vagina. It’s tight, small, and simple. This is what the vagina looks like for most women when they’re young, but when they reach puberty, the inner and outer labia can start to grow and change the look of the vagina.

 2. The Curtain Vagina

With the Curtain Vagina, the inner labia are longer or larger than the outer labia. The inner lips are clearly visible. The ‘curtain’ can differ from one vagina to another. For some women, the labia only protrude a little, while for others a lot more. Other times, there’s only one inner lip that sticks out. It’s striking that this type of vagina is the most common one and can also share some characteristics with other types of vaginas on this list.

3. The Puffy Vagina

The Puffy Vagina is very similar to the Barbie type, but it differs in one important way. The outer labia are much fuller. The labia consist of more skin and/or fat than those of the Barbie type. If your vagina looks like the Puffy type, you either have thin labia that hang a bit, or full labia. The labia are also less close to the pubic bone. All this has nothing to do with age or weight – many different types of women have the Puffy Vagina.

4. The Hoof Vagina

With the Hoof Vagina, the outer labia are more open at the top than at the bottom. Therefore, at the top of the vagina, a part of the inner labia and/or the clitoral hood is often visible. In most cases, the inner labia are smaller than the outer labia, so that the outer labia come together at the bottom. This vagina looks a bit like a hoof, which is where the name comes from.

5. The Tulip Vagina

This vagina resembles a flower that can blossom at any moment. Unlike the Curtain type, only a very small part of the inner labia(s) is visible along the full length of the ‘slit’. In fact, the inner labia are still inside the outer labia – just like in the Barbie and the Puffy type – but you can see them.
