This time there was a special toy in the EDC package, the "Prostate Massager". It's a prostate toy with a twist...
The toy comes in a white cardboard box with an image of the prostate massager on the front. On the side of the box, there's extra information and a picture showing how the toy works, as well as extra information about the toy (length, material, etc.). When you open the box, the toy itself is in a plastic holder with more detailed instructions. The instructions aren't for the prostate massager specifically, so they won't do you much good. As far as I'm concerned, the packaging is fine.
The toy itself looks like a pretty large, black vibrator. There's a control panel with silver accents on the handle. It's about 20 centimeters long, about 13 of which can be inserted. The massager is curved to better reach the P-spot and has a ribbed shaft. The shaft is somewhat flexible and can bend a little to hit your favorite spots. There is also a large round head that needs to be pressed against the P-spot and provides the action. The round head has a maximum diameter of 4.1 centimeters so it may require some practice to insert (you start with the thickest part).
What makes this toy special is that it doesn't vibrate, instead the head spins to stimulate the prostate. There are five different modes that either make the head move slower, faster or at different intervals. The massager runs on 4 AAA batteries (not included) and is waterproof.
A toy with a twist
Like I said, it is a pretty unique prostate toy and I was very curious about how it would feel. Spoiler alert: it works surprisingly well!
I recommend doing an enema before you start, so you're completely empty and you can reach your prostate. Once you've inserted the round head (this can be a challenge due to its rather large size) the rest of the toy slides in easily (the diameter of the shaft is about 2.70 centimeters). The ribbed shaft provides extra stimulation, but in my opinion the ribbing doesn't add much, because you're holding the massager mostly still. With the handle pointing upwards, the curvature of the shaft allows you to hit your prostate pretty quickly and then it's just a matter of turning it on and letting the toy do its job. Because the head makes a rotating movement, it sort of milks your prostate. If you keep the massager in the right place, it's a wonderful experience and you can easily spend 20 minutes in bliss while the toy does its thing. If you do it right, the feeling is somewhat similar to having to pee. This toy allows you to cum without touching yourself, but in combination with masturbation it provides an explosive orgasm ... one that you'll have to recover from.
The final verdict
As I'm sure you've noticed already, I was pleasantly surprised by this toy. At first I wanted to review it because I thought it was a unique concept, but it turned out that it actually worked really well, too. If you have experience with prostate massages (with fingers or other toys) this is an (almost) hands-free experience that comes very close to those. I've used it mainly as a solo toy so far, but I can imagine that your partner could use it to pleasure you. Because all you have to do is hold the massager in the right place, you can fantasize about all kinds of other exciting things. For (anal) beginners, the head of this toy is a bit much to take, so it's a good idea to warm up with a smaller toy first. The ribbed shaft makes cleaning the toy a little more difficult, but the fact that it's waterproof means you can rinse it off without worrying about getting water in the wrong places.
